FSJ Humanitarian Action

FSJ-Humanitarian Action* in Bonn is a 12‑month volunteer placement starting 1 August 2026 at our headquarters in Bonn-Bad Godesberg. The service period can be recognised as a waiting period for university admission.

Your Responsibilities

• Compiling and/or developing information materials on programs, projects, or specific emergency response topics
• Systematically preparing and filing existing information and project documents in the intranet
• Creating information and materials specifically for fundraising purposes
• Supporting the preparation of maps related to our project areas
• Providing administrative and logistical support to the team

Your profile

• You have successfully completed your secondary school diploma (Abitur) or a Bachelor’s degree
• You are between 15 and 25 years old
• Ideally, you have initial experience in development cooperation and/or humanitarian aid (e.g., internships)
• Knowledge of map creation is an asset
• Strong communication skills and an interest in humanitarian topics
• Interest in pursuing a career in development cooperation and humanitarian assistance
• Good command of English and ideally knowledge of French
