Full Professor (W2, Tenure Track W2) in Organic Chemistry

This is a tenure-track professorship for a five-year term leading to a tenured W2 position .
We are inviting applications for the position of full professor in the area of organic chemistry , to be filled as soon as possible .
Research FocusApplicants should be successfully active in a current and future-oriented field of (bio-)catalytic and synthetic organic chemistry , which complements the existing research areas at the institute in a meaningful way.
The focus of the work should be on the development of new methods in biochemical and organic catalytic processes , directed towards applications in life sciences .
Special emphasis is placed on:
- Interdisciplinary cooperation
- Integration into the main research areas of RWTH Aachen University (e.g., profile area Molecular Science and Engineering )
