Funding for Innovators is a pre‑seed investor providing equity and convertible loans to the most promising start‑ups in our ecosystem. In addition to that our prototyping grant program helps start‑ups build their first prototype like Isar Aerospace who used our grant to turn their vision into a scalable product. Based in Munich, we advance breakthrough technology with speed and focus.

Your mission

As a Visiting Investment Analyst, you will be integral to our investment process. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Sourcing & Diligence: Identify, analyze and evaluate promising deep tech startups for pre‑seed investment.
• Investment Analysis: Prepare investment presentations based on your due diligence.
• Process Automation: Implement AI‑workflows and maintain our IT systems (Salesforce, Notion, Make, CLaude) throughout our operations.
• Program Management: Assist in conducting our Prototyping Grants program for early‑stage founders.
• Representation: Represent the fund at industry events to source new opportunities.

Your profile

• Academic Background: Must be enrolled in a STEM field (e.g., engineering, natural science, computer science), ideally complemented by business expertise.
• Relevant Experience: A demonstrated interest or initial experience in venture capital, start‑ups, or deep tech innovation.
• Core Attributes: A genuine passion for cutting‑edge technologies, a proactive mindset with strong decision‑making skills, and excellent communication abilities in English.
