Owlcat Games is a game studio founded in 2016 that develops computer role-playing games, including Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

Задачи

Populate environments with assets, compose scenes, and establish compelling framing, guiding lines, and focal points; Place environmental details to convey world lore, past events, and local context; Set up and tune light sources, global illumination, exposure, and key lighting parameters; Build the overall visual tone using lighting, color grading, volumetric lighting, and fog; Use lighting to guide players and highlight navigation routes, key objectives, landmarks, and critical gameplay elements; Monitor performance and balance visual quality with target frame rates; Integrate visual systems into locations and collaborate with Level Design and Environment Art teams to maintain gameplay readability and a cohesive artistic vision.

Требования

• Proven experience as a Level Artist, Level Designer, Lighting Artist, or in a hybrid role with a similar skill set
• Hands-on experience taking game levels from blockout to final polished visual quality
• Practical expertise in Unreal Engine lighting, including light setup, global illumination, exposure, color grading, and volumetric lighting
• Solid background in level dressing using existing asset libraries to construct visually unified scenes
• Strong portfolio demonstrating game levels, lighting, and/or level art, with an understanding of composition, lighting design, and spatial layout.
