General Ledger Accountant

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the general ledger accounting of European subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and group financial policies.
• Complete journal entries, month-end/year-end closing, and preparation of financial statements accurately and on time.
• Manage overdue receivables and payables, establish tracking schedules, analyze root causes, and drive resolution of overdue items to minimize financial risks.
• Review and optimize core financial processes of subsidiaries, develop standardized financial procedures, and support the implementation of the group’s financial management system.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, support tax filing and compliance work, and liaise with the group headquarters for financial reporting and data submission.
• Complete other finance-related tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• CPA, ACCA, or other professional accounting certifications are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of general ledger accounting experience; experience in overseas subsidiaries or multinational companies is preferred.
• Familiar with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements in Europe.
• Hands‑on experience in overdue account management and financial process optimization.
• Able to independently handle full‑cycle general ledger accounting work.
• Fluent in English as a working language; proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible, and able to work under pressure with strong communication and coordination skills.
• Adaptable to an international working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering machinery, or multinational corporate environments is a plus.
