General Manager Germany | SEO & Digital Marketing

You won't inherit a territory. You'll build one.

We're working with a fast-growing, profitable European SaaS platform in the SEO and digital marketing space — part of a well-established digital marketing group with offices and clients across Europe.

They're entering Germany — and they need their first person on the ground to own it entirely.

This is a General Manager role in the truest sense: you'll co-define the go-to-market strategy alongside the founders, win the top agencies, and build the local brand from scratch. As the market grows, you grow — including building your own team.

What you'll do

• Define and execute the German market strategy alongside the co-founders
• Hunt and close digital marketing agencies and in-house marketing teams
• Manage and grow a recurring client base (the model rewards loyalty — good clients buy every month)
• Become the public face of the brand in Germany: LinkedIn, events, industry content — build and eventually lead a local team as the market scales

What we're looking for

• German speaker — non-negotiable
• Fluent English
• 3–6 years in sales or BD within a digital marketing agency or marketing SaaS
• You know how German agencies buy — and ideally, you know the key players
• Entrepreneurial: you want to build, not just execute
• Ambitious to lead a team down the line
• SEO knowledge is a plus, not a must — the will to learn it is

Based in NRW (Düsseldorf / Cologne / Dortmund area) preferred — you'd have access to a local office from day one, embedded within a sister agency. Fully remote considered, with some initial travel.
