Job Summary

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing broad professional human resources tasks to ọdị support policies and programs including recruiting, performance management and HRIS. This role is responsible for a wide variety of HR functions, policy interpretation, training and development, performance management, recruiting and administration of HR programs. This position works closely with the Corporate Services Team to create and facilitate improvements in the candidate and employee experience. This role partners with the HR Business Partners to provide assistance in onboarding activities as well as HR projects. Builds credibility and maintains strong relationships with cross‑functional partners, helping to achieve company initiatives and drive business results.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provides guidance and support to business partners and associates on all HR‑related issues. Serves as the primary point of contact for the Recruiters.
  • Advises business leaders on all aspects of organizational effectiveness including hiring, performance management, employee relations and policy interpretation.
  • Evaluates organizational climate and issues, assists with employee communications and facilitates improvements in the employee experience.
  • Supports field leadership in the development and implementation of strategies that enable the organization to thrive through periods of change.
  • Supports the design and execution of long‑range HR business objectives and strategic plans within the corporate function, focused on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning and staffing, performance management, enterprise systems and competitive performance‑based total rewards systems. Ensures harmonized implementation of strategies.
  • Preparation of the payroll and checking the payslips.
  • Conducts thorough investigations, maintains proper documentation, partners with leadership on outcome, and ensures timely resolution and follow‑up on employee relations issues.
  • Investigates and resolves workplace complaints and disputes; documents findings and recommends corrective action and/or appropriate resolution in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Interviews complainants, respondents, and witnesses; obtains and reviews documents and other relevant materials from complainant and/orঠ respondent.
  • Provides guidance and assistance in the disciplinary action process; makes recommendations on the appropriate level of corrective action.
  • Confers with and/or advises management regarding interpretation of policies and/or processes; provides guidance to management to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Fulfills staffing needs for exempt and non‑exempt job openings; sources and identifies talent, conducts job interviews and fills open positions in a timely manner.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor'sandir (BA or BS) in Human Resource Management or related field (e.g., Business, Organizational Communication, Industrial Psychology) preferred or equivalent. SPHR/PHR preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR Generalist capacity with expertise in recruiting.
  • Multiple priorities, drive results, and work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships.
  • Proven project management skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State regulations and legal compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with human resources software systems.
  • Professionalism to work with confidential information.
