The Gift Planning Associate must be highly organized, flexible, and able to prioritize workload and assignments as the position requires working as part of a team and providing administrative and/or program support to Gift Planning Fundraisers by producing gift calculations, drafting donor correspondence, and properly recording planned gifts.
The Gift Planning Associate will be responsible for drafting correspondence and acknowledgements, assisting in timely asset transfer, performing financial calculations, and processing and recording planned gifts (including bequests, charitable gift annuities, deferred gift annuities, flexible deferred gift annuities, pooled income funds, charitable remainder trusts and gifts of real estate). They will provide technical knowledge related to planned gift vehicles (both revocable and irrevocable) and apply gift-entry procedures in CRM to ensure accurate reporting. They will act as the main support for all gift planning fundraising teams and may provide program information to prospects and donors, assist with writing proposals, and conduct donor research. The Associate uses the fundraising management system to produce donor reports, perform analysis and research, track prospects and donors, and organize gift records. They apply established processes to improve effectiveness and may have substantial contact with staff, donors, legal and financial professionals. They will provide other staff with information needed to make decisions and solve problems and will perform administrative functions as required.

This position is based in the DC metro area and follows a hybrid work schedule with up to 3 days in person in the Arlington Office per week.
The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $70,650 - $84,050. This range applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA and reflects factors such as location, qualifications, skills, and experience. Countries outside the USA may have different pay ranges in the local currency. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
