GIS Software Developer, m/f/d

• Development, enhancement and maintenance of web applications in the GIS domain
• Maintenance and expansion of existing applications based on GeoServer technologies
• Technical support and assistance to business units in the use of GIS solutions
• Collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize our systems
• Participation in innovative solutions for the municipal sector

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL/PostGIS
• Expert-level knowledge of Java — especially for developing web applications with GeoServer
• Excellent German language skills (minimum C2 level) required — both written and spoken
• Willingness to undertake occasional business trips within the region (primarily Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt)
• Desirable: knowledge of C#
• Experience with municipal administrative decision/notification processes and, if applicable, cash register/payment systems
• Understanding of workflows in municipal administration
