Global Access Strategy and Pricing Manager, Pneumococcal Vaccines

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of value, access and pricing strategy for Pfizer’s pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) franchise across pediatric and adult indications.
• Own defined access deliverables for an assigned set of markets or a portfolio segment.
• Produce the building blocks that enable the franchise to win and defend tenders, transition markets to Prevenar 20, and prepare for competitive entrants.
• Turn franchise strategy into market‑ready resources: payer value propositions, objection handlers, country access roadmaps, tender submission materials and pricing‑scenario inputs.
• Maintain the franchise’s shared access resources, track competitor and payer developments, and ensure local needs are reflected in the global plan.
• Partner closely with Commercial, Medical, Country Health & Value, Regulatory and the GAV Centers of Excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in a health policy, economics, life‑sciences or business field preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with an advanced degree) in market access, pricing, health economics or a related field within the life‑sciences industry.
• Working knowledge of payer and market‑access environments and of pricing / reimbursement dynamics.
• Sound analytical skills and the ability to translate data and evidence into clear, decision‑ready materials.
• Strong project‑management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple deliverables against competing deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Prior experience in vaccines, tender / contracting environments, or specialist‑medicines procurement preferred.
• Familiarity with PCV competitive dynamics and Pfizer’s pipeline preferred.
• Experience working across global and local teams in a matrixed organization preferred.
• Eagerness to challenge the status quo and develop practical solutions to access problems.
