Global Data Analyst (m/f/d)

In this role you translate business needs into data-driven solutions, shaping data models, mappings, and quality initiatives. You will work closely with data architects and cross-functional teams to ensure trusted data flows for analytics platforms. The position focuses on profiling source systems, defining transformation logic, and documenting requirements to enable global data governance. You’ll influence data strategy and support transformation programs with a hands-on, collaborative approach.

• Analyze source systems to understand data structures and perform profiling, quality assessment, and exploratory analysis
• Map source to target data flows and define transformation logic for pipelines, warehouses, and analytics platforms
• Design data models and ER diagrams; document data definitions; identify data gaps and remediation strategies
• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to validate assumptions
• Create and maintain BRD, FRS, user journeys, acceptance criteria, process flows, data models, and system diagrams; ensure requirements are clear, complete, testable, and traceable
• Develop data and KPI definitions and implement into the global data catalog
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand problems and translate requirements into detailed specs; facilitate workshops
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, UAT, and risk assessment related to changes

• Data Bricks, Microsoft Azure, SQL, Python skills
• 5–8 years of experience as Data Analyst, Data Modeler, Technical Business Analyst, or similar
• Solid experience with data analysis, data models, database design, development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Experience in global transformation projects in Ops/SCM or HR/Finance
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and product owners
• Understanding how data supports business processes to add value
