As part of our Digital Workplace team, you will contribute to a secure, user-friendly, and future-ready workplace experience based on Microsoft 365, endpoint management, security, automation, and emerging technologies such as Copilot. Global Digital Workplace Architect – Microsoft 365 (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• You help shape the global Digital Workplace architecture and roadmap for FHCS, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, endpoint management, workplace security, and user experience.
• You translate business requirements into scalable standards, concepts, and architectures for services such as Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Intune, Entra ID, and related Azure services.
• You drive strategic Digital Workplace initiatives, migrations, and modernization activities from concept to global implementation together with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
• You identify opportunities to improve productivity, collaboration, and employee experience, including Copilot and other emerging workplace technologies in collaboration with your IT colleagues.
• You collaborate with Freudenberg expert communities and managed service providers to ensure secure, reliable, and continuously improving Digital Workplace services.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Solid experience in Microsoft 365 and Digital Workplace environments, ideally including endpoint management, enterprise architecture, service ownership, or technology transformation.
• Good knowledge of several workplace technologies such as Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Intune, Entra ID, device management, Azure services, and workplace security; you do not need to be an expert in all areas from day one.
• Experience in designing or improving IT services, standards, architectures, or implementation concepts in complex organizational environments.
• Ability to structure complex topics, communicate them clearly, and turn technical ideas into pragmatic solutions with business value.
• Collaborative mindset, ownership, curiosity, and the ambition to further develop into a global architecture role within Digital Workplace.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German skills, combined with strong stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
