Global Head of Pricing Excellence (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Build a globally aligned pricing management system that enables faster, more transparent and fact‑based commercial decision‑making across the CHT Group.
• Ensure reliable and efficient pricing operations across Germany, the Business Divisions and the global organization.
• Lead, develop and support the local Pricing team and global Business Partners in their day‑to‑day pricing activities.
• Define, implement and continuously improve a global pricing operating model (processes, structures, roles, and responsibilities).
• Drive standardization across regions and Business Divisions while balancing local business needs and global governance requirements.
• Establish pricing frameworks, guardrails, thresholds and approval logic to ensure transparent, consistent and scalable decision‑making.
• Align pricing rules, escalation paths and deviation handling with Sales, Business Development, Controlling and other key stakeholders.
• Drive implementation of pricing processes in ERP and IT systems and reduce manual, Excel‑based workflows.
• Create pricing performance transparency through relevant KPIs, dashboards and fact‑based input for commercial decisions.
• Foster cross‑functional collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement across regions, functions and hierarchy levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, sales, finance or a comparable qualification with a strong commercial and process‑oriented mindset.
• Experience in an international, medium‑sized company environment and ability to navigate global matrix organisations effectively.
• Experience building, implementing and improving cross‑functional processes, governance models and scalable organisational structures.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical systems, processes and execution plans.
• Experience at the interface of Sales, Finance, Operations and Business Development; pricing experience is an advantage.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and manage stakeholders across different regions and practices.
• Comfortable balancing hands‑on execution with the long‑term build‑up of systems, standards and governance.
• Solid understanding of ERP systems, pricing tools and data structures (e.g., SAP, Excel skills); negotiation or conflict management is a plus.
• Confident communication in business‑fluent English across hierarchy levels, combining strategic thinking with pragmatic problem‑solving.
