Global Process Owner (f/m/d) Contingent Workforce

Stellenbeschreibung:

Global Process Owner (f/m/d) Contingent Workforce

Then come and join our global team as Global Process Owner (f/m/d) Contingent Workforce, to take ownership of our external workforce strategy and shape how we manage flexible talent worldwide. This is a role well‑suited to an ambitious professional looking for the next step in their career, leading in the design and management of our contingent labor program.

Work Arrangement

Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours. Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Strategy & Program Management: You design, implement, and manage the global contingent workforce strategy to ensure alignment with organizational talent goals.
  • Vendor & MSP Oversight: You lead oversight of the Managed Service Provider (MSP), SOW/project vendors, and staffing suppliers, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and accountability through SLAs and performance scorecards.
  • Compliance & Governance: You ensure adherence to global labor laws and internal policies, driving proper worker classification standards (e.g., W2, 1099, SOW) and tenure management.
  • Operational Excellence: You design and deliver efficient onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining standard operating procedures for requisition, timekeeping, and worker access.
  • Technology Roadmap: Together with HR IT, you review the technology landscape and Vendor Management System (VMS) capabilities (e.g., SAP Fieldglass) to create and lead the technology roadmap for this labor category.
  • Stakeholder Advisory: You partner with business leaders to understand resource needs and advise on the appropriate procurement models, such as Staff Augmentation versus Managed Solutions.
  • Data & Spend Management: You track global spend and provide real‑time visibility to senior leadership, identifying risks and opportunities to reduce out‑of‑program activity and improve budget decisions.

Your qualifications and experience

  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s / Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, HR, or Procurement).
  • You bring many years of professional experience in procurement, within an HR environment, or in managing external workforce.
  • You possess extensive experience in building and managing contingent workforce programs, as well as working with MSP/VMS structures (e.g., SAP Fieldglass).
  • You have a comprehensive understanding of HR policies, labor law frameworks, and employment models (e.g., W2, 1099, SOW).
  • You have gained in‑depth experience in designing, optimizing, and standardizing processes.
  • You are accustomed to working in complex, international, and cross‑functional organizations.

Your attributes and skills

  • You bring strong analytical skills and use data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
  • You communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and build strong cross‑functional relationships (HR, IT, Procurement, Legal, Finance).
  • You are able to simplify complex processes and drive adoption across a global organization.
  • You act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on workforce strategies and governance topics.
  • You work proactively and take ownership, especially in managing escalations and resolving issues.
  • You are comfortable working in a global environment and are willing to travel (approx. 20%).
  • You are fluent in English; additional languages (especially German) are a plus.
