Global Process Owner General Ledger & Asset Accounting (m/f/d)

In this role you drive end-to-end GL and Asset Accounting within Döhler’s global SAP Finance landscape. You own solution delivery for GL & Asset Accounting, ensuring seamless integration with MM, CO, Inventory and Material Ledger, and you shape a scalable Finance E2E template from design to go-live and stabilization. You will align posting logic across the process chain, run fit-to-standard analyses, and translate business needs into implementable SAP solutions. You’ll enhance data quality, master data governance and KPI reporting while partnering with IT and the business to improve closing efficiency.

• Own end-to-end GL and Asset Accounting within global SAP Finance
• Own GL & Asset Accounting solutions including integration with MM, CO, Inventory and Material Ledger
• Develop and mature a Finance end-to-end template from design to go-live and stabilization
• Ensure consistent posting logic across MM/Inventory → Material Ledger → FI/closing
• Perform fit-to-standard analyses and troubleshoot postings and reconciliations
• Translate business requirements into implementable, agile SAP solutions
• Improve data quality, master data governance, and KPI-based reporting (e.g., GR/IR aging, close exceptions, ML variances)
• Ensure stable operations with measurable process quality and efficient closing
• Serve as key IT-FI liaison, bridging Finance and IT

• Several years of hands-on GL Accounting experience with a global focus in SAP Finance
• Ideally knowledge of Asset Accounting
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and integration with MM, Inventory and Material Ledger
• Experience implementing/enhancing SAP Finance solutions and S/4HANA transformations
• Solid posting logic, account determination, reconciliation and closing expertise
• Ability to perform structured analyses and identify root causes of postings/process issues
• Proficiency with Excel; BI/analytics tools (SAC or Power BI) is a plus
• Strong communication skills across Finance, IT, and Operations
