Overview

In this Product Manager role, you define and execute the product strategy for the microbiology-focused portfolio within Döhler’s Microsafety Design unit. You work with cross-functional teams to manage the assortment, drive revenue, and shape the product roadmap based on customer feedback and usage data. You support Sales with product know-how and ensure portfolio updates across internal and external media. You’ll help translate science into market-ready solutions that enhance quality control for beverage producers.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Define product strategy and align with business unit goals
  • Manage assortment with internal stakeholders in a global matrix organization
  • Monitor revenue, market share, and sales performance; collaborate with Sales on improvements
  • Define success criteria and drive product lifecycle management based on customer feedback
  • Support Sales with product know-how during customer visits and projects
  • Coordinate portfolio updates across internal (Portal) and external (D-Portal) media with Group Marketing
  • Provide in-house training to deepen understanding of the portfolio and positioning
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • High understanding of microbiology in beverage quality control, including traditional and rapid molecular methods
  • Experience as a product manager or readiness to pursue PM role in food/beverage B2B
  • Creation and implementation of product roadmaps; incremental and sustainable
  • Strong customer mindset with ability to engage with customers and build partnerships
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to meet deadlines
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset; ability to work in teams and independently
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, manage change and multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel globally (~20%)
  • Fluent English and German (additional languages beneficial)
