Global Quality Manager KCS (m/f/d)

What you’ll be doing:

You will lead the quality strategy, systems and execution to support compliance and business growth. The role has overall accountability for all aspects of Knauf Ceiling Solutions’ quality activities across Operations and warehouse locations, and indirect management of Quality Responsible team members across the organization. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing quality management policies, programs and processes in line with business and Knauf requirements; driving leadership engagement in quality; leading cross‑functional collaboration for effective claims management, root‑cause investigation and the implementation of counter‑measures; maintaining ISO 9001 compliance, facilitating audits with global site teams and suppliers; and further developing quality systems and accreditations. In close cooperation with R&D, technical, supply‑chain and purchasing teams, you will ensure product compliance, clear product specifications and effective supplier quality management. Additionally, you will contribute to selected safety responsibilities (20%), including monitoring and reporting safety KPIs, administering Global Knauf Group self‑assessment results and driving implementation of key safety initiatives across operational sites.

What we’d love for you to have:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field and at least 5–7 years of progressive experience in operations management with a strong quality focus. Experience in an international company is essential. Solid knowledge of quality management standards, statistical tools, product compliance requirements and supplier quality processes. Structured, disciplined and problem‑solving, with strong communication skills in English and the ability to build effective relationships across functions and cultures. Passion for travelling (40 % travel time) and a willingness to visit different countries and cultures.
