Global Sales Vertical Lead – Healthcare

The Global Sales Vertical Lead Healthcare is responsible for driving sustained growth within a defined industry vertical key account program by building strong, long‑term partnerships and consistently achieving ambitious commercial targets. This role requires a strategic, customer‑centric leader who can combine long‑term vision with hands‑on engagement in key opportunities, ensuring profitable growth across all products and services.

How you create impact

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing commercial team within the healthcare vertical, fostering accountability and a strong performance culture.
  • Actively support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of commercially skilled talent.
  • Build and nurture trust‑based relationships with key stakeholders across global key accounts, driving long‑term partnerships and customer loyalty.
  • Manage a selected portfolio of strategic accounts while shaping, negotiating, and closing high‑impact business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and national teams to ensure aligned strategies and seamless global execution.
  • Translate healthcare and life sciences industry trends into actionable strategies and compelling value propositions.
  • Identify and drive new growth opportunities, markets, and partnerships to expand the vertical’s footprint.
  • Monitor commercial performance and pipeline quality, ensuring strong forecasting discipline and sustainable, profitable growth.

What we would like you to bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, with strong knowledge of the healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences vertical.
  • Proven experience in key account management and leading commercial teams in a global environment.
  • Strong industry expertise with the ability to translate market trends into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth and managing complex sales pipelines.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship‑building skills across senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience collaborating with global key account teams, national management, and functional units such as Finance and Legal.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior decision‑makers within customer organizations and relevant industry bodies.
