As a Solutions Architect on AWS’s Automotive & Manufacturing team, you partner with global automotive suppliers to design scalable, resilient cloud architectures that enable digital transformation. You act as a trusted advisor, blending deep technical expertise with business vision to modernize legacy systems, migrate workloads, and implement AI capabilities. You will shape long-term technology and AI strategies, work with cross-functional teams, and influence customers through compelling architecture and measurable value. This role combines cloud, data, and AI to address complex manufacturing and supply chain challenges in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, architecting end-to-end cloud, data, and AI solutions responsive to business needs
• Lead discussions shaping long-term technology and AI strategy and trade-offs between short-term fixes and scalable architectures
• Design generative AI and cloud-native architectures to orchestrate workflows across enterprise systems using AWS services
• Advise senior stakeholders on architecture, risks, and long-term strategy with clear business value
• Identify opportunities to accelerate implementation via reusable components and parallel workstreams
• Develop technical content (code samples, blogs, presentations, workshops, reference architectures) to demonstrate best practices
• Lead thought leadership by evangelizing AWS capabilities at events and in published materials
• Drive product innovation by translating customer needs into requirements and coordinating with product/engineering teams
• Resolve complex technical problems through root cause analysis for customers and internal teams
• Contribute to strategic planning, mentor junior architects, and help build team consensus
• Stay current with AWS services, AI research, and automotive trends to recommend optimal stacks

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders
• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking (preferred)
• Experience working with end user or developer communities (preferred)
• Experience in automation or monitoring frameworks, deployment or development (preferred)
