Global Specialist Alternative Assets (m/f/d)

Job Purpose

As a Specialist Alternative Assets you play an important part in implementing the alternative asset strategy of Allianz worldwide. You will shape structures and provide IFRS accounting analysis for new investments such as private debt, real estate and traded fixed income, and report directly to the head of Deal Structuring and Accounting Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to private debt and private equity investment structures in collaboration with asset managers (e.g. AllianzGI and PIMCO)
• Provide accounting analysis for alternative asset investments (e.g. LBO loans), traded assets and derivatives
• Support private asset management through the run phase, for example by valuation and transaction support in workout cases and refinancing situations
• Conduct analysis to enhance EU taxonomy reporting for different asset classes (e.g. private debt and real estate)
• Present investment accounting and valuation topics to senior management

Key Requirements and Skills

• Master’s degree focusing on finance, economics or a similar field, ranking in the top 10% of your university program
• First working experience, e.g. an internship with a financial service provider or a Big 4 audit firm
• Interest in working in the investment management area
• Proficient in German and English (spoken and written)
