Global Trade Specialist | Import / Export Operations – Chemical Distribution (m/f/d)

Your role within our team:

• Independently handling import and export orders, including the review of legal requirements such as embargo regulations, customs status, and creditworthiness
• Coordinating delivery schedules with the respective business units
• Supporting existing and new customers, preparing quotations, and processing documentary business (letters of credit)
• Organizing and coordinating national and international air and sea freight transportation while ensuring on-time execution
• Acting as a reliable and trusted contact person for customs authorities, auditors, and suppliers regarding all import and export-related matters
• Maintaining accurate documentation and up-to-date data in the relevant systems

What makes you ready for OQEMA:

• Completed commercial training in logistics/freight forwarding, wholesale and foreign trade, or industry, ideally combined with initial professional experience
• Strong affinity for software and digital systems such as SAP, future SAP S/4HANA & GTS, CRM systems, ATLAS, and MS Office
• Very good knowledge of export business, import processing, export regulations, export control (trade compliance), and transportation management
• German and English language skills (minimum B2 level)
