Grid Manager

Grid Manager | Berlin, Germany – Hybrid | Onshore Wind, Solar PV & BESS

€90,000 - €110,000 fixed salary + bonus

We are supporting a growing European renewable-energy developer looking to appoint a Grid Manager in Berlin.

You will take responsibility for grid-connection activities across utility-scale wind, solar and battery-storage projects, supporting developments from initial feasibility through engineering, construction and energisation.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess grid capacity, potential connection points and project feasibility
• Manage grid applications and technical discussions with German DSOs and TSOs
• Coordinate grid-connection concepts, offers, agreements and compliance requirements
• Oversee internal engineers, external consultants and technical studies
• Support HV substation engineering, including projects connecting at up to 380 kV
• Coordinate grid-related activities across development, engineering, construction and site teams
• Identify technical, commercial and programme risks affecting project delivery
• Maintain responsibility for the grid workstream through to commissioning and energisation

Your background:

• Experience managing grid connections for renewable-energy or major power-infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of German grid codes, connection procedures and DSO/TSO requirements
• Experience with HV substations and transmission-level connections
• Strong project-management and stakeholder-coordination skills
• Fluent German and English
• Experience across wind, solar or BESS would be highly valuable
