Group Business Controller (m/f/d)

Group Business Controller | Global Industrial Manufacturer | Near Heidenheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany | Up to €100,000 Package + other benefits

I'm currently supporting a renowned, family-owned global industrial manufacturer in the search for a Group Business Controller to join their international finance function.

With around 5,000 employees worldwide, the business has built an outstanding reputation for engineering excellence, innovation and long-term growth, with a strong market position offering both standardised and custom solutions. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and influence business performance across an international organisation.

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Controlling, you'll be a key business partner, translating financial data into commercial insight and supporting strategic decision-making across both headquarters and international subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Business partnering with senior management
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Performance management and KPI analysis
• Identifying risks and opportunities through proactive financial insight
• Supporting monthly and annual financial reporting
• Leading strategic and operational controlling projects
• Developing reporting and controlling tools

We're looking for someone who has:

• Several years' experience in Controlling or Business Finance
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
• Experience analysing financial and operational KPIs
• Advanced Excel skills (SAP CO, Tagetik, QlikView and/or Power BI would be beneficial)
• Knowledge of external accounting
• Fluent German and English, and willingness to travel internationally on occasion
