Group Lead Product Development

In this responsible leadership role you guide a development team focused on high-performance circular connectors and overmolded technology. You will shape the strategic direction of the product development group and oversee activities across the full lifecycle. You drive KPI-driven results within cost and budget constraints while collaborating with international sites and internal interfaces. This role offers impact through leading cross-functional projects and advancing manufacturing-oriented design, within a culture that values innovation and collaboration.

• Lead and develop the employees within your area of responsibility
• Define strategic direction for the product development group
• Coordinate development activities across the full product life cycle
• Achieve objectives considering KPIs, cost targets, and budgets
• Collaborate with international development sites and interfaces (Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Quality) to ensure optimal results

• Completed technical degree in a relevant field and several years of experience in electromechanical component development
• Proven experience in leading and motivating teams
• Strong expertise in design for manufacturing for plastics, metals, and overmolded components
• Confident user of CAD systems (preferably Siemens NX), Teamcenter, and MS Office
• Solid know-how in creating and maintaining complex product and design platforms
• Excellent communication and consulting skills with strong cost awareness
• Very good written and spoken German and English; willingness to travel
