As Head of Plant Utility, you will lead the Plant Utility department within Exyte Central Europe and steer a multi-disciplinary team on high-tech facility projects. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to develop concepts and deliverables that meet contractual requirements while upholding HSE standards. You will oversee production of specifications, data sheets, drawings, and MTO, and shape a department strategy and staffing plan. You will perform engineering tasks for utilities and HVAC wet systems in cleanrooms, manufacturing facilities, and institutional sites. This role offers the chance to build a cornerstone function that enables scalable, compliant, high-quality facility‑
Verantwortungsbereiche- Establish and develop the Plant Utility department within Exyte Central Europe
- Collaborate with the team to develop concepts and deliverables aligned with contractual requirements, ensuring quality and HSE
- Prepare specifications, data sheets, drawings, functional descriptions, and material take-offs (MTO)
- Create department strategy aligned with project scopes and required skillsets
- Develop staffing plan and collaborate with HR to recruit resources
- Perform engineering tasks related to design of utilities and HVAC wet systems for high-tech facilities (cleanrooms, manufacturing/process, institutional)
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education (unknown if required)
- minimum 10 years of professional experience in engineering, construction, or commissioning of Building Service Systems
- experience in consulting engineering, preferably in the semiconductor industry
- strong leadership skills with ability to build consensus and develop team members
- fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- willingness to travel within Central Europe
