In this role you develop hardware solutions for safety-critical industrial applications, guiding projects from concept to certification. You collaborate across product, hardware, software, IoT, and security teams to shape future hardware platforms. You will prototype, test, and verify hardware components and support certification processes, delivering reliable systems. Verantwortungsbereiche

Develop and optimize embedded hardware for industrial and safety-critical applications
Build prototypes and perform functional, verification, and validation testing
Define test systems and environments for hardware and software components
Support certification and product approval processes ensuring compliance with safety standards
Collaborate with Product Management, Hardware and Software Development, IoT Solutions, Cyber Security, and Customer Support
Evaluate new technologies and contribute ideas to evolving hardware platforms
Document development and test results in German and English
Contribute to shaping the future hardware strategy of the company

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
Several years of experience in development of electronic assemblies and systems
Good knowledge of Linux-based systems
Programming experience in C/C++
Experience in testing, verification, and validation of hardware components
Structured and analytical working style with a strong quality mindset
Good written and spoken English skills
