Stellenbeschreibung:

Head (f/m/d) of Product and Development Management - Transformer Digitalization

A Snapshot of Your Day

You begin by aligning product, engineering, and business teams on key priorities such as improving transformer monitoring features, enhancing sensor integrations, and strengthening data analytics capabilities.

You review progress on important innovations, make portfolio investment decisions, collaborate with regional colleagues on customer feedback, and ensure the roadmap is progressing toward impactful, market-ready releases. You end your day shaping the long-term strategy to keep Siemens Energy at the forefront of digital transformer solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the global portfolio for transformer monitoring solutions — including intelligent sensors, on-premise and cloud software, and fleet-wide analytics.
  • Define the strategy and roadmap to advance digital transformer capabilities such as bushing and electrical health monitoring, dissolved gas analysis (DGA) for early detection of developing faults, improved cooling system monitoring and control, advanced tap changer diagnostics and next-generation data interfaces that make transformer insights easier to use.
  • Drive innovation around digital twins, predictive maintenance, and health index models to help customers operate assets more safely, reliably, and efficiently.
  • Ensure strong cybersecurity and compliance, keeping our monitoring platforms secure as digitalization and regulation evolve globally.
  • Guide cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, commercial, operations) to deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations and industry standards.
  • Translate market needs into portfolio decisions, developing compelling business cases and prioritizing features that bring measurable customer value.
  • Collaborate with partners and suppliers, including sensor manufacturers and analytics experts, to continually expand and strengthen our offering.
  • Represent Siemens Energy externally at key conferences and customer engagements, clearly articulating our vision for digital transformer management.

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience in grid technology, digital solutions, or industrial asset monitoring, ideally with exposure to transformers or similar heavy electrical equipment.
  • A strong strategic profile — you can translate market trends, customer needs, and technology shifts into clear portfolio strategies.
  • Understanding of digital platforms, industrial IoT, and data-driven diagnostics (e.g., moisture, thermal behavior, electrical condition monitoring).
  • A solid grasp of software and hardware product development, including sensor technologies, cloud/edge architectures, and analytics solutions.
  • Leadership experience with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex topics in an accessible way.

About the Team

Our Grid Technology team enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.

Benefits

  • In addition to an attractive remuneration package in line with the market, you can expect an attractive employer-financed company pension scheme.
  • We also offer the opportunity to become a Siemens Energy shareholder.
  • We offer our employees the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely, and our inspiring offices provide space for collaboration and creativity.
