Overview

In this role you lead roadsurfer Group’s accounting and taxation, ensuring reliable, timely, and audit-proof reporting under HGB. You will shape an scalable, data-driven finance function and spearhead the SAP rollout to consolidation across the group. You work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and cross-functional teams to drive automation and digitalisation. This is a hands-on, transformation-focused leadership opportunity with a direct impact on corporate finance and governance.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead the accounting function for the roadsurfer Group with reliable, audit-proof financial reporting under HGB
Ensure tax compliance across the Roadsurfer universe
Build and develop the accounting team, establishing clear ownership and closing timelines
Shape a scalable, data-driven accounting function ready for AI-native finance setup
Drive the SAP implementation from process design to go-live and stabilization
Act as main contact for auditors, tax advisors, and authorities; manage the audit process
Collaborate with Controlling, Corporate Finance, and Finance Operations to drive automation and digitalisation in accounting

Zentrale Anforderungen

Several years of relevant accounting experience with responsibility for financial statements under HGB
Leadership experience of an accounting team
Degree in finance/accounting or comparable certification (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter)
Experience with SAP and finance transformation projects; SAP implementation/migration experience preferred
Structured, hands-on leadership style; ability to build scalable processes in a dynamic environment
Curiosity for automation, AI-supported finance workflows, and data-driven process improvements
Attention to detail, positive mindset with a solution focus
Fluent in English and good German skills
