Head of Architecture (m/w/d)

In this role you will drive the technology strategy in collaboration with the CTO to shape AI-enabled healthcare solutions. You will set architectural guardrails for AI-native development, govern cross-environment platforms, and own the technology lifecycle from new capabilities to modernization. You will establish architecture as a fixed part of product delivery and lead a community of practice through the Architecture Guild, coaching architects and senior engineers. • Define and drive technology strategy with the CTO and establish governance across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Set architectural guardrails for AI-native development and ensure AI-generated code aligns with principles
• Own technology lifecycle management from introducing new capabilities to retiring old systems
• Define the role of architecture within the FIRE team delivery model and make it a core part of product development
• Build Architecture Guild as a community of practice and coach architects and senior engineers

• Several years of experience as a Senior Architect or Head of Architecture in a complex, enterprise-wide technology environment with hands-on delivery
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) and domain-driven design
• Practical experience with microservices, cloud-native, and event-driven architectures in greenfield and modernization projects
• Familiarity with AI-native development models and implications of AI-generated code and autonomous agents
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, preferably with healthcare IT or regulated industry experience
