Head of Artificial Intelligence Global Quality & Accreditation

In this role you will lead AI conformity efforts under evolving EU AI regulations, establishing BSI as a global authority in AI regulation and accreditation. You will shape processes, policies, and staff competence to ensure compliant AI practices across the organization and with external regulators. You’ll represent BSI in international AI forums and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify regulatory opportunities. • Lead AI Notified Body designation efforts and regulatory issues for EU scope
• Develop and implement processes to meet EU AI Regulation and accreditation requirements
• Establish qualification criteria with GRC Professional Development for all roles
• Ensure team compliance with AI NB processes and procedures
• Provide expert regulatory support to Group and customers
• Mentor NL Team with Designating Authority (TBC)
• Support UK Approved Body and other international regulatory programs
• Identify opportunities for business process improvement
• Maintain consistent Certification Process outputs with C&R, Operations, and Professional Development

• BSc degree in AI-relevant discipline
• Thorough knowledge of existing and proposed AI regulations worldwide, especially EU
• Knowledge of quality management standards and business processes
• Strong relationship-building and teamwork abilities
• Broad technical understanding of focal area industry products
• Conceptual/analytic thinking, efficiency, results orientation
