Head of CoE Accounting (f/m/d)

In this role, you lead the global Accounting Center of Excellence, ensuring IFRS compliance and governance across the group. You shape accounting standards in a transforming, centralized, and international business. You will drive harmonization, process improvements, and integration of acquisitions while partnering with senior leadership. • Lead the global Accounting Center of Excellence and oversee group accounting governance and IFRS compliance
• Drive ongoing improvement of accounting policies, standards, and internal guidelines
• Oversee group consolidation content and harmonize the Group Chart of Accounts
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex IFRS matters across international entities
• Act as key contact for external auditors and regulatory stakeholders
• Support integration of newly acquired companies into the Group accounting framework
• Lead global accounting process harmonization and centralization initiatives
• Drive digitalisation, automation, AI and data analytics initiatives within accounting
• Collaborate with Group Controlling, Tax, Treasury, Risk Management, and international Finance leaders
• Support strategic finance transformation projects and the evolution of the global finance operating model

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
• Extensive experience in Group Accounting, Corporate Finance with IFRS and consolidated financial statements expertise
• Proven leadership experience in complex international organizations
• Strong understanding of accounting governance, reporting processes, and internal controls
• Experience with multinational corporate structures and global stakeholders
• Track record of driving organizational change and finance transformation initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior management
• Experience with modern ERP and financial reporting systems; SAP S/4HANA experience is advantageous
• Professional qualifications such as CPA or equivalent are highly desirable
• Fluent in English; German language skills advantageous
