Head of Consolidation (m/f/x)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation, analysis, and review of the consolidated financial statements for the ZEISS Group
• Ensure compliance with both internal accounting policies and external regulations, according to IFRS
• Serve as the main point of contact for all consolidation-related matters
• Guarantee the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and represent consolidation topics professionally to external auditors
• Provide clear and comprehensive information during the financial reporting process
• Project lead for the implementation of a new consolidation tool
• Handle special consolidation-related assignments as required
• Drive the digital transformation and process optimization of group consolidation activities
• Lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve high performance

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Extensive experience working in an international audit firm and/or in group accounting within a multinational corporation
• Deep expertise in accounting and consolidation under IFRS standards
• Proven success in project management
• Experience in leading teams
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as ERP and consolidation software (e.g., SAP SEM/BCS)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German is not mandatory but a strong advantage
