Head of Controlling (f/m/d)

As Head of Controlling, you shape the Controlling setup for a growing international group, driving budgeting, investor reporting, and a robust cost/revenue framework. You connect Controlling, Accounting, and Data to deliver actionable insights for day-to-day decisions. You will lead a cross-functional team and partner with the CFO, Data, and business units to ensure transparent steering. This role offers strategic influence, international scope, and opportunities to advance data-driven, automated reporting.

• Shape and develop the Controlling setup for the Chrono24 Group with focus on budgeting, forecasting, and actual vs. plan reviews
• Drive investor reporting and provide management with decision-ready inputs
• Lead and develop the Controlling team and align with Accounting and Data to enable robust steering
• Collaborate with Data Analytics to enhance data-driven and automated reporting and analysis
• Ensure reporting, planning, and analysis are structured, prioritized, and actionable in day-to-day operations
• Challenge numbers, assumptions, and business logic in a constructive, improvement-focused manner
• Support cross-functional collaboration with business units to connect financial and operational KPIs
• Contribute to evolving the Controlling function from a technical and strategic perspective

• Several years of relevant Controlling experience in a fast-growing international group
• First leadership experience and ownership mindset
• Structured, analytical mindset with ability to manage complexity
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis skills
• Ability to translate financial and operational KPIs into steering insights
• Fluent communication in German and English (spoken and written)
• Hands-on mindset, proactive ideas, critical view on processes
• Strong Excel skills and quick systems grasp; experience with LucaNet preferred
• Understanding of modern analytics and AI-supported work to improve Controlling processes
