Head of Data Office (all genders)

In this role you establish and steward a company-wide Data Office to govern data governance, ensuring transparency and cross-functional collaboration. You will design structures, role models, and processes for enterprise data management while keeping operational data work with business functions. You’ll build a network of Data Owners and Data Stewards and anchor analytics, automation, and AI foundations. • Create and grow a company-wide Data Office as the central governance and coordination function
• Define organization-wide data governance structures, roles, and processes
• Ensure visibility of data ownership, standards, decision-making, and action areas
• Develop and expand a network of Data Owners and Data Stewards
• Coordinate collaboration among Data Owners/Stewards and other stakeholders (IT, Digital Excellence, Legal & Compliance, Master Data Management)
• Advance the data management and governance landscape and lay foundations for analytics, automation and AI initiatives

• Several years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Process Management or Transformation
• Proven experience in establishing governance structures and managing cross-functional initiatives
• Strong understanding of organizational structures, responsibilities and complex stakeholder environments
• Ability to align diverse interests and deliver sustainable solutions
• Excellent facilitation, communication and influencing skills
• Strategic mindset with pragmatic, results-oriented approach
• Ability to drive change and foster sustainable collaboration
• Fluent in German and English
• Successful completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable qualification
