Head of DIY – International Sales

Location: Germany (Willingness to travel internationally.)

We are supporting a search for a Head of DIY on behalf of a leading European premium manufacturer within the flooring and interior building products sector. The business has a long-standing reputation for quality, innovation and sustainability and is currently undergoing an exciting transformation backed by an international private equity group, with a strong focus on international growth and commercial expansion.

Role

This is a senior commercial leadership position responsible for developing and growing the international DIY channel. You'll lead relationships with major DIY retailers, drive expansion into new markets, negotiate strategic commercial agreements and play a key role in shaping the company's international sales strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the international DIY sales strategy.
• Manage relationships with major DIY retailers and strategic key accounts.
• Drive business growth across existing and new international markets.
• Lead commercial negotiations, tenders and framework agreements.
• Work closely with Product, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to optimise commercial performance.
• Identify opportunities within e-commerce and omnichannel retail.

Qualifications

• Senior sales or commercial leadership experience within flooring, building materials, interiors or related industries.
• Strong experience selling to large DIY retail chains across Europe.
• Proven success managing key accounts and complex commercial negotiations.
