Head of Finance And Administration

We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance & Controlling (m/f/d), based in Berlin with German business language skills.

About the Role

Overall responsibility for finance and accounting (IFRS, HGB).

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the CEO and managers
• Point of contact for auditors, tax advisers and banks
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Responsibility for budget planning, forecasts, financial and liquidity planning / cash flow planning
• Further development of controlling and reporting structures
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Identification of development opportunities, cost-benefit analyses, cost reductions and system improvements

Qualifications

• A degree in business administration with a specialisation in finance, accounting or management accounting

Required Skills

• Experience in leading teams and collaborating with stakeholders
• Extensive professional experience in finance, management accounting, bookkeeping or financial reporting
• In-depth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Experience working with SAP R3 and DATEV
• Communicative, organised, hands‑on and passionate about the role
• German language business fluent or mother tongue
