Head of Financial Reporting & Analysis (f/m/d)

In this finance leadership role, you steer management reporting and forecasting for a global business group, partnering with senior leaders to drive modernization of reporting, processes, and systems. You deliver decision-ready insights from in-depth analyses to support operational and strategic goals. You shape operative and strategic planning and act as the primary Controlling contact for the Freudenberg Group. This role combines transformation work with ongoing process optimization to boost efficiency and data quality.

• Lead monthly management reporting and forecasting for a global business group, ensuring transparency on key drivers and high-quality data.
• Provide in-depth and ad-hoc analyses to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Drive operative and strategic planning across the group to shape the business direction.
• Partner with the Board of Management, division leaders, and corporate functions; serve as primary Controlling contact for the Group.
• Contribute to transformation and project management initiatives (e.g., PMI).
• Continuously optimize Controlling processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• 5+ years in group controlling or financial reporting in an international industrial environment
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a comparable field
• Nice to have: background in management consulting, Big 4, or multinational manufacturing
• Strong systems skills: MS Office, SAP, Management Information Systems (e.g., HFM)
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
