Your Role

As Head of Commercial Controlling (f/m/x) you will act as the strategic finance partner to our global commercial leadership and drive financial performance across Sales, Service and Commercial Excellence.

You will

• Lead the global Commercial Controlling organization, covering Sales, Service, Working Capital Management and Commercial Business Partnering
• Partner closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and senior leadership, providing financial guidance on commercial strategy, pricing, profitability and new business models
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and mid-term planning across global regions and Strategic Business Units while ensuring transparency and alignment
• Deliver high-quality financial analyses, executive reports and business recommendations for senior leadership and C-level decision making
• Monitor commercial performance through relevant KPIs, identify risks and opportunities, and initiate corrective actions
• Support strategic customer engagements by evaluating complex commercial agreements, financing concepts and profitability
• Optimize working capital and cash flow through effective management of receivables, inventory and commercial finance processes
• Lead, coach and develop an international team of finance professionals while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Drive continuous improvement of controlling processes, reporting standards and business intelligence capabilities to strengthen commercial decision making
• Lead or contribute to finance transformation projects that enhance efficiency and the quality of financial insights for the sales and service organizations

Your Profile

• You have a master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a comparable qualification combined with extensive professional experience.
• Several years of leadership experience in Commercial Controlling, Finance or Business Partnering within an international, matrix-driven organization.
• Strong expertise in commercial finance, including sales controlling, pricing, forecasting, budgeting, profitability analysis and working capital management.
• Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing strategic business decisions through data-driven financial insights.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, ERP environments and Business Intelligence solutions such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and corporate financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business recommendations.
• A collaborative leadership style with proven experience in leading organizational change and developing high-performing teams.
• Fluent English is mandatory
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 20%)
