Head of Group Project Engineering (m/f/d)

In this role you drive global engineering projects from concept to implementation across Döhler sites, shaping site master plans and capital expenditure. You will standardize processes, collaborate with R&D, Sourcing, Production and Finance, and lead a network of global experts to boost automation, energy efficiency and best practices. • Lead global engineering projects from development to site-wide implementation
• Define and coordinate global site master plans with regional teams
• Develop and manage the global CAPEX plan and budget with global finance
• Drive improvements and standardization in automation and energy efficiency
• Gather and implement best practices across production sites
• Establish global standards considering technical, product, and regulatory needs
• Collaborate with R&D and Sourcing to set global equipment and supplier standards
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance) for maintenance strategies
• Oversee continuous process improvement and guide production sites worldwide
• Coordinate the global Subject Matter Expert network and ensure governance of projects

• Degree in process engineering, production engineering, food technology, or related field
• Several years of engineering experience in the food and/or beverage industry
• Extensive experience in basic and detailed engineering for process plant engineering
• Knowledge of food production technology and digital production tools
• Proven project management experience on large-scale projects
• Several years of leadership experience
• Strong conceptual and analytical abilities, able to understand complex matters
• Solution-oriented mindset and hands-on mentality
