Head of Group Project Engineering (m/f/d)

In this role you drive and govern global engineering projects, shaping site master plans and CAPEX across Döhler’s production network. You’ll align cross-functional teams to implement efficient technologies, standardize processes, and safeguard regulatory and product requirements. Your work supports continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and scalable engineering best practices worldwide. • Lead global engineering projects from concept to implementation across sites
• Define and coordinate global site master plans in collaboration with regional teams
• Develop and manage the global CAPEX plan and budget with global finance
• Drive automation and energy-efficiency improvements and standardization
• Capture best practices across production sites and implement efficient technologies
• Establish global equipment and supplier standards with R&D and Sourcing
• Coordinate cross-functional maintenance strategy alignment with Production, Engineering, Sourcing, and Finance
• Coordinate the global Subject Matter Expert network and ensure project governance
• Provide guidance to production sites to improve processes on a global scale

• Degree in process engineering, production engineering, food technology or related field
• Several years of engineering experience in food/beverage industry
• Experience in basic and detailed process plant engineering
• Comprehensive knowledge of food production technology and digital production tools
• Proven project management experience on large-scale projects
• Several years of leadership experience
• Ability to understand complex issues with analytical mindset
• English and German language proficiency
