We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to drive our global Engineeringcapability within Corporate IT. The role is responsible for defining and executing the technology strategy supporting Engineering, R&D, Product Development and Product Lifecycle Management across all regions and business units.

The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to Engineering Leadership while leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives and managing a global portfolio of applications, platforms and programs.

Internal title: Business Domain Manager Engineering & Digital Products (m/f/x)

• Define and execute the global Engineering strategy and roadmap.
• Own the global investment portfolio and capability roadmap.
• Partner closely with Engineering, R&D and Product Management leadership teams.
• Lead global digital transformation programs across PLM, Engineering Data and Digital Product platforms.
• Establish target architectures and technology standards.
• Drive innovation in AI, Digital Twin, Digital Thread and Engineering Analytics.
• Manage strategic technology vendors and partnerships.
• Lead globally distributed teams and external partners.
• Ensure governance, cybersecurity, compliance and operational excellence.
• Build and continuously evolve a modern product-centric operating model.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in IT, Digital Transformation or Engineering Technology leadership.
• Strong experience in Engineering, R&D or Product Development environments.
• Deep understanding of Product Lifecycle Management and Engineering Platforms.
• Proven track record in managing global portfolios and budgets.
• Demonstrated success leading large international transformation programs.
• Excellent executive stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organisational capabilities.
