About the Role

As Head of IT Division (CIO), you will assume strategic and operational responsibility for the IT function of PEAC Solutions Group across Continental Europe. In this senior leadership role, you will shape and execute the technology, data and AI agenda, ensure resilient and compliant IT operations, and act as a trusted partner to the Management Board, our shareholder and business units. You will lead a multi-team IT organization, drive digital transformation and modernization, and ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value in a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the IT function of PEAC Solutions Europe Group across nine European countries, including five teams and more than 50 employees.
  • Define and execute the group-wide IT, technology, data and AI strategy in alignment with corporate strategy, growth objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive digital transformation and modernization, including cloud, enterprise architecture, automation, advanced analytics, Generative AI and intelligent workflow solutions.
  • Drive the deployment of practical AI, automation, and intelligent workflow solutions specifically to deliver increased operational efficiency, automate middle-office processes, and expand our core technology capabilities.
  • Ensure stable, secure and scalable IT platforms, infrastructure, applications and technology ecosystems for internal operations and customer-facing services.
  • Own, manage, and optimize our core enterprise SAP platforms, ensuring they scale efficiently to support our complex leasing and finance products.
  • Maintain effective IT governance, cybersecurity, technology risk management, data protection and compliance with relevant requirements, including GDPR, DORA and MaRisk.
  • Partner with executive management, the shareholder, business units, control functions, auditors and regulatory stakeholders on IT-related matters and strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee strategic vendor, outsourcing partner and SLA management, including cooperation with partner companies in the UK and the USA.
  • Identify emerging technologies and innovation opportunities to further digitalize the company and improve customer journeys, operations, risk management and decision-making.
  • Manage IT budget planning, investment portfolios, cost optimization, resource allocation and KPI-driven performance management.
  • Drive efficiency improvements within IT, including process optimization, automation, resource utilization and operating model enhancements.
  • Build, lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering innovation, accountability, talent development, rapid execution and organizational change.

Your Profile

  • 10–15+ years of technology leadership experience, including senior management responsibility in financial services, leasing, banking, fintech or another regulated environment.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise SAP platforms (the core of our leasing and finance technology), including experience deploying and customizing these systems.
  • Hunger to identify and actively deploy new, value-multiplying technologies (e.g., Enterprise AI), taking them from concept to measurable operational impact.
  • Proven track record in leading complex IT organizations, transformation programs and modernization initiatives, with a hands-on, development focused mentality.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, application development, data, automation and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Deep understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, technology risk, data protection and regulatory requirements, particularly DORA, MaRisk and GDPR.
  • Experience managing enterprise applications, technology vendors, outsourcing partners, IT budgets and investment portfolios.
  • Experience in international organizational structures, navigating complex stakeholder groups and leading cross-location teams.
  • Successfully completed degree, preferably in Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
  • Commercially minded, strategic leader able to translate technology investments into measurable business value.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including confident interaction with executive management, shareholders, supervisory bodies, auditors and regulators.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to structure and present complex topics clearly.
  • Ability to combine a hands-on mentality with strategic perspective, process orientation, structural thinking and sound decision-making.
  • Proven ability to drive change and transformation, guiding teams through organizational, technological and cultural shifts with clarity and execution focus.
  • Business-fluent German and English language skills.
