Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the LNG trading desk, including strategy development and day‑to‑day trading activities, focusing on short‑term markets (year +1).
• Identify market opportunities and execute profitable trading strategies.
• Oversee and optimise the utilisation of regasification terminals across Europe.
• Proactively develop, strengthen and expand relationships with LNG trading counterparties.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key market participants.
• Ensure traded volumes remain within approved risk limits while delivering profitable outcomes for the company.
• Promote a strong understanding of and adherence to all relevant Risk and Compliance policies as well as the company’s Code of Conduct.
• Lead an international team of highly skilled LNG Traders and Support Managers.
• Develop, empower and mentor team members to support their professional growth and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and decision‑making skills.
• At least 5 years of experience in LNG trading and origination.
• Understanding of the supply and demand fundamentals of LNG markets.
• Commercial thinking – spotting opportunities and taking risks to create value.
• Team player with excellent communication, negotiation skills and a highly analytical mindset.
