Head of NC Programming (m/f/d)

As Head of NC Programming, lead and advance the NC programming team for high-precision 3- and 5-axis machining. Drive the planning, optimization, and standardization of NC programs, tooling, and CAM systems to support space-grade components. Collaborate across Production, Engineering, and Quality to ensure compliant, efficient manufacturing and industrialization of new products. • Technical and managerial leadership of the NC programming team
• Plan, manage, and optimize NC programming processes
• Program, simulate, and approve NC programs for 3- and 5-axis machining centers
• Standardize programming of special-purpose machines, robotic systems, and automated lines
• Develop programming standards, machining strategies, and CAD/CAM/simulation systems (CATIA V5, Siemens NX, Vericut)
• Advance tool technology and tool management for reliability and cost-effectiveness
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, machine performance, and automation with cross-functional teams
• Standardize and digitize manufacturing documentation and NC/measurement/set-up processes
• Support industrialization of new products and new processes/machinery
• Ensure compliance with aviation quality standards (e.g., EN 9100)

• Several years of NC programming experience for complex CNC machining
• Leadership experience or project-management experience
• Excellent knowledge of CATIA V5, Siemens NX, Vericut; ideally Teamcenter, Walter TDM, Siemens SINUMERIK 840D
• 3- and 5-axis machining, tool technology, and challenging materials (aerospace preferred)
• Experience in digital manufacturing, CAM, and automation
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; structured, solution-oriented work style
• SAP proficiency an advantage
• Degree in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent training with professional experience
