Als erfahrene Führungskraft definiert und steuert der Director, Head of Pensions Germany die strategische Agenda für das Deutschlandgeschäft im Bereich Pensions. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf der Nutzung von Wachstumschancen durch neue gesetzliche Regelungen. Die Rolle verantwortet den Aufbau und die Skalierung von kapitalmarktbasierten Pensionslösungen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit internen Partnern und externen Produktanbietern. Ziel ist eine leistungsfähige und wettbewerbsfähige Produktplattform, die sowohl Kundenbedürfnisse als auch regulatorische Anforderungen erfüllt. Gleichzeitig fungiert die Position als zentraler Sparringspartner für das Senior Management und funktionsübergreifende Stakeholder und stellt eine konsequente Umsetzung von der Idee bis zur Markteinführung und darüber hinaus sicher.

As a senior leader, the Director, Head of Pension Germany will set and execute the strategic agenda for the firm’s Germany pensions offering, with a specific focus on capturing growth opportunities created by newly passed pensions legislation. The role is accountable for building and scaling investment-based pension solutions in collaboration with internal partners and external manufacturers, ensuring a robust, competitive product platform that meets client needs and regulatory requirements. The role acts as a key partner to senior management and cross‑functional stakeholders, driving delivery discipline from concept through launch and ongoing evolution.

Drive pension growth in Germany

• Turn new pension legislation into a clear product and commercial roadmap
• Align priorities with senior stakeholders and ensure timely execution
• Establish KPIs, governance, and decision frameworks

Market intelligence & positioning

• Track German market, competitor, and regulatory developments
• Derive insights from international pension markets
• Translate trends into actionable product and go‑to‑market recommendations
• Provide regular insights to senior management and stakeholders

Product strategy & delivery

• Own end-to-end development of investment‑based pension products
• Define product setup with internal teams and partners (e.g., DWS)
• Work together with staff in international locations to globally improve pension offerings
• Ensure strong governance across the full product lifecycle

Cross‑functional delivery

• Lead collaboration across legal, risk, tech, operations, and client teams
• Drive scalability, efficiency, and client experience improvements
• Support client teams in strategic discussions and product positioning

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree required; advanced professional education in finance, investments, pensions, or capital markets preferred
• Significant experience in pensions, investment products, insurance/retirement solutions, or related product management roles within a bank, asset manager, insurer, or consulting firm
• Strong understanding of the German pensions landscape and the regulatory environment relevant to investment‑based pension offerings
• Proven product delivery track record in complex environments and experience with governance and risk frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and commercial mindset
• Fluent in German and English
