In this strategic global leadership role, you will drive regulatory excellence, influence industry standards, safeguard the compliance of our cosmetic ingredients portfolio, and help shape the future of sustainable innovation.

What You'll Do

As the global leader for Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs in Cosmetic Ingredients, you will:

• Define and execute the global regulatory and product safety strategy for our Cosmetic Ingredients business.
• Lead and inspire a global organization of approximately 30 experts and leaders across multiple regions.
• Ensure compliance with evolving chemical, cosmetic, and downstream regulations worldwide.
• Anticipate emerging regulatory trends and translate them into business opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Innovation, Quality, and Regulatory functions to support business growth.
• Actively represent Symrise externally in industry associations, regulatory advocacy initiatives, and consortia for the defense of cosmetic ingredients.
• Champion ingredient defense activities and help shape future regulatory frameworks affecting our industry.

What You'll Bring

• Advanced degree in Toxicology, Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a comparable scientific discipline.
• Extensive experience in Product Safety, Toxicology and/or Regulatory Affairs within cosmetic ingredients, specialty chemicals, consumer health, or related industries.
• Proven success leading global, multicultural teams and developing high-performing leaders.
• Strong experience in regulatory advocacy, industry representation, and ingredient defense programs.
• Ability to balance scientific rigor, regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and commercial priorities.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
