Head of Sales Marketing (B2B Food Ingredients)

QLM Search is partnering a Niche specialist Flavors & ingredients group that is looking to appoint a Sales & Marketing Director. Reporting to the Regions CEO and forming part of both a regional (EMEA) and global sales leadership team, the role will be instrumental in delivering their 5 year commercial strategy in this specialist Flavor division.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective Flavor category management strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the business.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.
• Identify, develop and build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business is meeting their needs and driving customer satisfaction
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments (internationally - US AND Europe) to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business.
• Collaborate with R&D & Marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Experience in building/developing new markets and distributor relationships

Candidates MUST have proven experience as a Sales Director (with Marketing) within the B2B Flavor & Ingredients sector. Managing a small team (5) you will need excellent knowledge of the Europe wide Ingredients / Flavors, have strong communication skills, with the ability to navigate product sales in this niche category. German & English are a must, French language skills would be advantageous. You need strong knowledge of category management strategies across Ingredients with a track record of driving growth through effective implementation
