The Role

You will work alongside diplomats, interns, and technicians in a collaborative referral setting with access to state-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Management of complex referral cases in small animal internal medicine
  • Advanced diagnostics and specialized procedures
  • Close collaboration with multidisciplinary specialist teams
  • Mentoring and teaching junior clinicians and technicians
  • Active participation in developing and expanding the Internal Medicine Department
  • Opportunity to pursue and develop subspecialty interests such as nephrology, gastroenterology, or interventional medicine

This position also offers a clearly structured long-term leadership perspective, including the opportunity to grow into a Head of Department role.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a motivated clinician who enjoys combining high-level medicine with teamwork, teaching, and strategic development.

You should have:

  • Diplomate ACVIM / ECVIM-CA (Internal Medicine), residency training, or Fachtierarzt für Innere Medizin
  • Passion for high-quality patient care and collaborative medicine
  • Strong communication and teaching skills
  • Motivation to help shape and evolve a modern referral service

Minimum B2 German language proficiency (required for German professional licensure). English proficiency is also valued.

Facilities & Clinical Environment

Our hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and interventional capabilities, including:

  • Modern in-house laboratory and blood bank
  • CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and full endoscopy suite
  • Interventional procedures such as:SUB placement, PCCL, Urethral stenting, Coil embolization
  • Intensive care unit and isolation ward
  • Spacious dog and cat wards with separate treatment areas
  • Fully air-conditioned hospital

You will work in a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment alongside experienced specialists across multiple services.
