Head of Telco Network Transformation & Growth - TMT Consulting

Our client is strengthening its Telco Network Transformation growth organisation in DACH and is looking for a leader to build and drive it Network Transformation agenda across key Telecoms clients

The role combines deep telecom network expertise with commercial leadership. The objective is not to manage delivery, but to create growth by shaping strategic client agendas, developing differentiated propositions and converting industry themes into concrete business opportunities.

The role works horizontally across strategic telecom accounts and closely with Client Partners, Consulting, Technology Solutions, global capabilities and selected partners.

Core Mandate

• Build and own the TMT DACH Network Transformation growth agenda
• Develop senior client relationships across network, technology and operations functions
• Shape opportunities across strategic accounts including major Tier-1 and Tier-2 telecom operators
• Translate network trends into actionable consulting, transformation and technology propositions
• Support large-deal shaping and strategic pursuits

We are looking for a telecom professional with strong credibility in front of CTO, Network and Technology executives.

Ideally:

• 12+ years in telecom, consulting, technology or network transformation
• Strong understanding of mobile and fixed network environments
• Experience shaping transformation programs rather than only delivering them
• Proven commercial mindset and ability to create pipeline from strategic client discussions
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working across matrixed and international organizations
• Ability to connect consulting, engineering, technology and managed services

Success in the Role looks like:

• Qualified pipeline created across strategic telecom accounts
• Revenue influenced or generated through network-related growth plays
• Replication of propositions across multiple accounts
• Contribution to large strategic deals
• Strong collaboration with Client Partners, Practices and European / Global teams

This is a horizontal growth role within TMT DACH. It is designed for someone who wants to influence several major accounts rather than own a single client.

The role would be a core member of the TMT Growth Office.

German-speaking is preferred but is not essential, although at least conversational German would be a very strong preference
