A well-established renewable energy business, managing a diverse portfolio of wind and solar assets and is known for long-term ownership, high engineering standards, and a stable, supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Wind & Site Assessment function across the German project portfolio (technical leadership, not team management).
• Develop and maintain the data basis for yield, noise, and shadow modelling.
• Assess and evaluate potential wind sites across Germany using tools such as WindPRO, WAsP, ArcGIS, and CFD.
• Lead energy yield assessments, noise and shadow flicker modelling to support development and investment decisions.
• Act as the internal expert for wind resource assessment, working closely with development, engineering, and external consultants.

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong experience in wind resource assessment within development, consultancy, or an IPP.
• Proficient with WindPRO, WAsP, OpenWind, ArcGIS, and CFD tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into practical project decisions.
